Job Description of Registered Nurse :
- Registered Nurse Job Summary:
- Work as part of the multi-disciplinary team, providing nursing care with detailed knowledge of equipment and clinical procedures.
- Plan, co-ordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care in consultation with senior staff.
- Maintain standards per ward/Trust policies, procedures, and NMC code of conduct.
- Ensure a safe working environment, comply with Health & Safety regulations, and attend mandatory training.
- Safely handle drugs and medicines, demonstrating IV drug manipulation, dexterity, and coordination when trained.
- Work unsupervised using ward Protocols and Policies at times.
Person Specification:
Education:
- Registered Nurse or ODP on the appropriate part of the NMC/HCPC Register or working towards registration
Experience Required for Registered Nurse:
- Essential: Pre-registration clinical experience
- Desirable: Post-registration clinical experience
