Responsibilities of Postal Clerk:
- Efficiently operate and shuttle corporate vehicles.
- Effectively handle material handling equipment.
- Accurately receive and accept mail items.
- Appropriately sort, scan, sequence, and batch mail items.
- Efficiently transfer and load a postal truck.
- Effectively transfer and dispatch parcels and packets.
- Accurately complete reports and documentation.
- Maintain a satisfactory safe driving record and the appropriate class of provincial driver’s license when operating a corporate vehicle during their tenure with Canada Post.
- Perform other postal clerk duties as required.
- Engage in a variety of sales and customer service activities to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
