- Position Title: Truck Operator

Criteria for Truck Driver Jobs
- Language Proficiency: Candidates must possess a strong command of the English language.
- Educational Requirements: Candidates should hold a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or demonstrate equivalent experience.
- Experience: Prior experience is not mandatory as comprehensive training will be provided.
- Transportation/Travel Experience: Candidates should be familiar with international, long-haul, national, and provincial/territorial travel.
- Documentation Knowledge: Candidates should have familiarity with a variety of documents, including accident or incident reports, bill of lading, driver logbook, inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), maintenance and repair reports, trans-border documentation, and trip reports.
- Type of Trucking and Equipment: Proficiency in operating straight trucks (weighing 4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles) is required.
- Communication Systems Experience: Candidates should be adept at operating GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment, as well as trip recorders (on-board computers).
- Tools/Equipment Ownership: Candidates must possess a cellular phone.
- Credentials: A valid AZ class license is necessary.
- Security and Safety: Candidates should possess a valid passport and undergo a driver’s validity license check.
Physical Requirements:
- Candidates must demonstrate a keen attention to detail and possess experience in efficiently managing heavy loads.
- Candidates should be capable of handling a substantial workload and be prepared to work overtime as necessary.
- Physical fitness is essential to meet the demands of this rigorous position, including efficiently managing repetitive tasks and performing duties that involve prolonged sitting.
- Candidates should also have the ability to lift weights of up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
