Job Overview
- Being part of a compact group, your task is to bring our volunteer friend-making service and weekly meet-ups to life. These gatherings happen in Rosyth, Torr burn, Cowdenbeath, and Tay port. Our meet-ups are warm spaces for community folks doing assorted activities you help to plan. Your job also includes hosting guest organizations who offer extra assistance to our members while making sure they have a great time.
Requirements for Project Worker
- Relevant qualification in Volunteer Management or extensive volunteer work experience.
- Successful coordination and supervision of teams, demonstrating leadership and motivation skills.
- Deep understanding of working with volunteers, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Knowledgeable about the voluntary sector and volunteering initiatives, effective navigation in this domain.
- Proven track record in developing and delivering community projects.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, combined with IT proficiency.
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs, utilizing evaluation methods for project effectiveness.
- Strengths in producing reports and analyzing data.
- Non-judgmental attitude and embrace of diversity, contributing to an inclusive atmosphere.
- Adaptability to new environments, thriving in collaborative team settings.
- Excel in prioritization and planning, establishing relationships/partnerships with other voluntary and statutory agencies.
- Possession of a driver’s license and ability to travel between services is required.
