Responsibilities of a Carpenter:
- Read and understand blueprints, drawings, and sketches for construction work
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials like wood and lightweight steel
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and construct walls and roofs
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware
- Maintain, repair, and renovate structures in various establishments
