Position Purpose for Sales Associate:
Our customers receive the best support for customer service from Appliance Specialists. The role of Appliance Specialists is to work with Department 70 (Appliances), the customers by helping them, understanding their customer needs and guiding what they buy in building successful relationships that generate profitable sales.
Sales Associate :
- We need associates who can:
- Target the clients at the Appliance and Custom Kitchen Show Rooms.
- Interview customers on their projects and needs to know them better.
- Help customers locate products in different selling locations.
- Assist customers over the phone.
- Customers with special orders and install sales should be supported.
- Work with Inventory Associates on ordering problems.
- Interact with the Freight/Fulfillment Team on packing problems.
- Participate in regular product knowledge and training workshops.
We’re seeking individuals with the following qualifications:
Applicants must:
- Minimum time they have in their current role.
- Adhere to performance management code standards with V2 being the latest code.
- Or P3 from the former system is viable.
- These standards guarantee that applicants have an adequate level of work experience in their current position and have met or outperformed performance expectations as required by the company.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
- Knowledge and compliance with Home Depot policies and procedures.
- Ability to make sales and top notch customer service skills
- Passing of the certified Sales Associate Test.
- Completion of any required training.
- The optimal applicant should have a record of performance in relation to position-related timing commitments, buy-in performance standards, and willingness to work with a variety of shifts. It is essential that we value knowledge of the company’s policies, superior sales skills, and exceptional customer service delivery. This job requires completion of assessments and training to be successful.
